Girl group T-ara will open a cafe under the name Coffee Page One. T-ara members andCore Contents CEO Kim Kwang-Soo personally invested in and designed the cafe, which they hope will soon spawn a franchise. The cafe is planned to open on July 1 in downtown Seoul’s Kangnam.
Kim Kwang-Soo said in a statement: “We created a resting space that utilizes entertainment, with the concept of showing people that the entertainment industry isn’t as far away as they think. We are planning to establish 500 stores throughout the country. The name of the cafe, ‘Coffee Page One’, was inspired by the drama Coffee House, where the character played by T-ara’s Eunjung operated a coffee shop named ‘Page One’.”
